What is Casual RP night?

The Jazuba management will occasionally host open roleplay nights on off-days, usually Sunday. These are NOT official openings. They're more considered fun little hang out times with staff, management, and patrons alike. Sometimes during real openings, we don't get the chance to roleplay as much as we would like. This is our chance to.Since the day might not be the same, it is suggested you join our discord to know what days causal roleplay night will be at the Jazuba. We usually open for these nights during our normal opening hour but depending on who is at the venue, we may close early. Check the party finder to see if we are still open.Some nights might have a special theme! Check the discord for the announcement!

What's different?

• There may or may not be a bartender present. Even if the person working as the bartender is there, they are not required to serve you.
• If a drink is created, no payment will be taken and no item will be given. This is just roleplay.
• Hosts may be on the premises but are not considered currently working. You may hire them but they will be considered freelance.
• The same rules for opening nights apply to casual roleplay nights. Please be respectful of your fellow patrons and staff.
• We will do our best to greet you and get you involved but we may be a little busy.

What is Jazubā?

In the Rakuza District there exists talk of a former fish-monger's home located down an alley-way on the Western edge of the Kogane Dori. Advertisements for Ilsabardian & Thavnarian imports as well as wholesale fish offerings dot the alleyway until the otherwise inconspicuous doorway is picked out by its distinctive crystal awning. Once you've given the code of the evening, you're ushered into a wood paneled lounge aflush with well-maintained women and distracted men, the room a hive of debauchery and illicit activities that would make you wonder why the Sekiseigumi have yet to visit the place.You've found..
JazubāEnter a world where morals and ethics are left to flexible interpretation. The staff at Jazubā are well-renowned for their discretion and ability to attain whatever it may be that you desire. Drinks, Food, Pleasure, Games of Chance, Smuggled Goods, Someone to Disappear, A Hired Hand, Otherwise Un-Attainable Information. The only limits are how far you're willing to go.. and your gil-purse.

OoC Information

Jazubā is a late Shōwa -era themed speakeasy inspired by the aesthetic of jazz and early city-pop. The venue's owners and staff all work to cultivate a community based around a Hingan criminal enterprise, with Jazubā being the organization's hangout and legitimate operations front.On venue nights, venue-goers can enjoy a variety of services ranging from typical tavern offerings to private roleplay (escort) services to gambling whilst also partaking in the venue's immersive storyline. Those interested can become part of longer storylines based around the Jazubā-verse.We are open every Monday from 8pm to 12pm EST. Hours may run past closure.

To deal two dice, the dealer will roll a /dice 6 twice.Each number represents the corresponding pips on the face of a die.The sum of these two dice will be added to formulate the result.

Game Flow

The dealer starts by informing the players of each rule.
1. The dealer will individually take wagers from each patron, announcing their chosen bet at this time.
2. After verifying to the patrons the authenticity of the dice, the dealer will place them in a cup and shake them before overturning the cup and revealing the stationary results.
3. The dealer will find the sum of the two dice.
4. Results are announced and rewards are distributed for the winners.

To deal a card, the dealer will roll a /dice 13.
Numbers 2 to 10 represent their respective numbered card and to them are assigned their respective value.
1 = Ace. To this card is attributed whether the value of 1 or 11, whichever keeps the hand from busting.

12 = Queen. To this card is attributed the value of 10.
13 = King. To this card is attributed the value of 10.

Game Flow

The patron starts by placing a bet.
1. After collecting all bets, the House will deal two cards for each player and one card for the House.
2. Next, each player will be individually asked whether they choose to stay with their two cards or hit (have the House deal them another card) - there's no limit on the number of hits that a player can ask for.
3. After every player have settled with their final hand, the House will now deal for themselves. Note that when being under 16, the House is forced to draw another card.
4. Results are announced and rewards are distributed for the winners.
5. In case of a tie, the bet is pushed to the next round, unless the player asks for it bet or wants to increase/decrease it.

Signe had a decent wardrobe, a little more simplistic but surprisingly moderately stylish. Just because he grew up in a jungle didn't mean he had to still dress like it. There was something obvious upon looking at his closet, his fondness for mostly black and various shades of deep reds. There was something beautiful about his closet. Between the similar colors you'd see the occasional pop of some kind of bright blue or orange peaking through. If his partner left clothes here they were promptly washed and added to the rest for the next time he was staying over. These little bits were a godsend for those weekend vacations that turned into and entire week. The au ra's closet probably had a similar vibe, seas of color with few blocks of more intense and deep fabrics.
